Imagine if you got your most favorite thing ever in the whole entire world taken away from you. Then started to speak up to try and get the thing you love back, and then gunmen come after you and shoot you in the head. Would you keep on speaking up to get that thing you love back? Most likely your answer would be no. But if you were Malala Yousafzai, then you answer would be yes. Malala has overcome her struggles to become the successful person she is today.
One struggle Malala had is that she couldn't walk around town without a male relative. Malala hated this. She wanted to be independent and be able to walk by herself.
Another struggle Malala had was the Taliban took over, and started closing schools. The Taliban took over in 2007. They started bombing schools, injuring teachers, students, and even passerby’s. This was all to stop girls from going to school.
Also, her biggest struggle she faced was being attached by the Taliban. They shot her in the head, but she is still living, she is just recovering.
The last problem is that she wants to go back. Right now, Malala is in England, but she is struggling being away from home. She missed her school friends.
